The Published Parent April 2018 Income Report: Blogging, Proofreading, Articles, Books

Below is my homeschooling work-at-home mom income for April 2018 in the areas I focus on: proofreadingbloggingparenting magazine articles and books on Amazon.com. You can find all my income reports (they go back a few years!) under the Income Reports category.

*I show only what I was PAID, not what I earned.  Happy writing, and please ask me anything in the comments section!

Please keep in mind before you judge my measly income that I also homeschool 5 children, including teaching a few hours a week at the homeschool coop. My kids are 8, 10, 13, 14 and 16 and homeschooling is a HUGE job! How do I do it? I let them sleep in the mornings and I get most of my work done then. I also have to check in at night for an hour as well. I do not take any days off.

On a personal note, I am 46 years old and had a miscarriage in March. At the same time, my husband got hit by a car while riding his bicycle for exercise. His helmet saved his life! We are both fine, but shaken up, and I did take things more slowly in the weeks following these events. THEN ... my daughter got into theatre and it is taking up SO MUCH of our time (yes, my time as well because I'm on the Sets Committee) ... it's really unbelievable. I promise I'm not telling you these things to count as excuses ... just explaining why my income is down this month.
